THE KNOTS
a gradual manipulation of the strands of grass resulted in this series.
The knot could be a metaphor for stress or frustration; perhaps
caused by indecision or reluctance to leave a familiar image.
This series initiated the transition to abstraction as I began to rely
less on what I saw and more on what might be.
